Hi guys, This dish can be made as a side or taken for lunch as left overs.
Heat a pan with some ghee, or oil of your choice.
Gently fry sliced onions, Red pepper, garlic ( optional corriander). When these are soft add the green beans and fry for a couple of minutes.
Decant the above and fry bacon bits. Add the Bean mixture back into the pan so that the beans take on some of the bacon flavour and fat.
I have also made this with chicken instead of bacon, and added chilli or chilli flakes.
You can replace the beans for sliced sprouts. I really don’t like boiled sprouts, but sliced and cooked in bacon fat they are Delicious and worth the effort of slicing them.
